JAKE AND JAY-MY CADDY! 1988
YOU KNOW THIS BLOG,YOU KNOW I GRAVITATE TOWARDS RECORDS LIKE THESE.YOU KNOW,THE ONES THAT SOUND LIKE THEY WERE RECORDED BY MISTAKE.LOVE THAT STUFF...ON ANOTHER NOTE-IT'S REALLY INTERESTING TO HEAR HOW HIP HOP MADE IT'S WAY ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND THE AMOUNT OF TIME IT TOOK CERTAIN PLACES TO CATCH UP WITH WHAT WAS EN VOGUE IN (THIS CASE) 1985/86.THIS RECORD WAS RELEASED IN 1988 THAT WAS THE SAME YEAR "...NATION OF MILLIONS..." CAME OUT.IN NEW YORK AND PHILLY PEOPLE WERE ADVANCING THE GENRE AND RAP WAS HEADED INTO PRO-BLACK AND MILITANT SUBDIVISIONS AND IN FLINT,MI THEY WERE RHYMING ABOUT A CAR...I'M NOT HATING ON FLINT OR ANY OTHER SCENE THAT WASN'T EAST COAST.AND NOT EVERYBODY HAS THE BOMB SQUAD AT THEIR DISPOSAL EITHER.IT'S JUST WHAT ENTERS MY MIND WHEN I HEAR A RECORD THAT WAS RECORDED AT A CERTAIN TIME AND SOUNDS BEHIND THE CURVE BY A FEW YEARS.

Hahaaa.. Just true and living facts you're speaking on here. Everybody was a step or two behind the east coast back then.
