NOT ALOT TO SAY ABOUT THIS ONE.IF YOU KNOW IT THEN YOU KNOW HOW GOOD IT IS.IF YOU DON'T YOU'VE GOT A GLORIOUS HALF HOUR OF LISTENING IN YR IMMEDIATE FUTURE.THIS IS AS RAW AND "STREET" SOUNDING AS THEY COME.BACK WHEN THAT MEANT PRODUCTION TECHNIQUE/STYLE AND NOT ART SCHOOL KIDS POSTURING ABOUT SHOOTING PEOPLE AND MAKING 8 BILLION DOLLARS BEFORE GOING TO THEIR STILL LIFE/PORTRAITURE CLASS.NOT THAT I DISLIKE THAT STUFF,ITS DEFINITELY GOT ITS TIME & PLACE,BUT IF MCS TODAY MEANT IT HALF AS MUCH AS THE PEOPLE ON THIS EP DID...I'D BE FIRST IN LINE TO BUY THAT RECORD.THIS IS FROM S.CAROLINA CIRCA 1989 AND I THINK IT HAS THE SAME BLOODLINES AS THE "GENIUS PRODUCTIONS" EP...

ReplyDeletehow the hell did you land this ultra obscure bboy novelty grail, and i always wondered, was this a live recording? how else could it sound soooooo nasty, nasty as in poor quality gritty grained out 2 dollar microphone in a basement from an amp in the kitchen nasty.
